What does it mean to be a member?
You agree with our core values and want to put in the work to build stronger communities and practice mutual aid. Members are expected to show up.
Members are expected to learn, develop, and grow. We are here because we share values, and we are holding onto hope. We are dreaming alternative systems, and seeing them out.
The work is difficult, and it is made possible through this network of people dedicated to the shared vision of a better future.
Members must be 18 years or older.
What is the onboarding process like?
Our sign-up form has a video covering the basics. After you fill out the form, one of our current members will reach out to you to set up an onboarding session.
Are there dues?
Nope! SLCMA members do not pay dues.
reminder—no one in SLCMA gets paid. we choose to do this work! it’s a labor of love, and a commitment to struggle. the state does not protect or support its people.
